A Skill I Wish I Had...

Yesterday I went to see an old friend of mine for a catch up. It's been a while since we've actually seen eachother.

We got talking about jobs and college and ended up on the subject of video editing and animation.

Both editing and animation is something I've always wished I could do but just never thought I could. If you've read previous posts or follow me on social media, you'll know I watch a lot of YouTube...It's the main thing I've been doing with my life recently and apart of YouTube and the YouTubers I watch is editing and animation. They hire animators and my god, there work is amazing! But it's more the side of what them themselves and now there hired editors (for Jack it's Robin and for Mark it's Ethan) do.

The skills they have is something that looks so easy to do but in reality, it's actually rather difficult and something I wish I could do.

Instead of going to college though, I'm going to attempt to teach myself. College is somewhere I really don't want to go back to if I'm honest... So Google, YouTube and trail and error will hopefully help. All I want to do is to be able to say I can edit decently which at the moment, is something I can't do. It's a skill I wish I had and a skill I will attemp to achieve.

So wish me luck as I attempt to learn a new skill. Fail or not, I can say I tried, right?
