The Life Of A Yorkshire Princess: Manchester Attack.

I haven't written anything for a while due to writer's block. I haven't really done anything; been anywhere or had anything happen to me to be able to actually write anything down and for that I apologise.

For the past couple of days, the main thing that's been on the news is the Manchester attack that happened on Monday night [220517] which I'm sure you've all seen but just in case you haven't, I'll give you a quick run down.

On Monday night, thousands of adults, teenagers and children went to see Ariana Grande preform her Dangerous Woman concert at the MEN Arena in Manchester. The tickets were sold out and the arena seats around 21000 people!
Seconds after preforming her final song of the night and exiting the stage, the lights came on and people started exciting the arena. I don't know if you've ever been to a concert but the feeling you get after one is like a huge rush of excitement and joy! You're hyped up and feel great... Well, these people at this concert felt that for all of a few seconds until a loud explosion went off in the lobby area.
A suicide bomber ended up killing 22 innocent people and it looks like there's others he was working with too as several people linked to him, including his brother and father, have been arrested.

This event is tragic and something those families will never get over.
I live in Sheffield, not Manchester and I didn't personally know any of the victims but it's still close to home, quite literally.

The man who did this... I shall not name nor show a picture of his evil face because he's not the one who should be remembered but the ones who's lives he took away should!

Lisa Lees - 47 years old.

Wendy Fawell - 50 years old.

Jane Tweddle-Taylor - 51 years old.

All of these people either went to watch the concert and enjoy themselves or went to pick up somebody at the concert... None of them should have died. It's heartbreaking knowing that somebody could do this.

As a tribute, thousands of people went out and got the Manchester bee tattooed for £50. All the money went to the victims and their families.

Myself and my mum were 2 of those who got the tattoo.

I'm very proud of the tribute and I'm glad I could help those who need it.
