Fans unite on Twitter as Lucifer is cancelled.

Personally, I'm a fan of the FOX show Lucifer. I'm from the UK but I watch it all of the time.
I've been a big fan of Tom Ellis (Lucifer Morningstar) since he was in Miranda as Gary Preston a few years ago now. He's a wonderful actor and Lucifer is a fantastic character.

As I wake up this morning, I see my group chat on Facebook has some unread messages. My girls from America and Puerto Rico are saddened and livid by the news that has spread around Twitter like wildfire. The show has been cancelled by FOX TV.
As I say, I too am a fan of the show, as is my mum, dad and my fiance, so to hear this news wasn't something I was happy about for sure.

I got onto twitter right away as I see one of my girls has been tweeting with the hashtag #SAVELUCIFER and, of course, so many other fans have done the same, including the actors themselves! Even some celebrities like William Shatner have used the hashtag.

#SAVELUCIFER has been in the world wide trending section for hours, hitting number 1 or 2 constantly. This surely proves that the fan base is large and nobody wants to see it go? Well, turns out within 24 hours, FOX has cancelled 20 shows!

As I'm tweeting, I see that one of the big shows that was cancelled only yesterday, Brooklyn Nine Nine, has been saved by the NBC network.
This just shows that the fans have a big impact here.
