The REAL Full Monty!

On Wednesday, March 28th, my mum and I went into Sheffield City Centre, the place I was born, where I currently live, where my mum and dad use to live, the home and steel, football and of course, The Full Monty!


If you're unaware of The Full Monty, it's a film that came out in 1997 (the year after I was born). It was filmed in Sheffield and is based here too. It's basically about a group of northern men who end up stripping. It's a great film, one my family love, mainly due to where it's based. It stars actor such as Mark Addy and Robert Carlyle and is a big hit!

Now, last year a group of male celebrities did a show called The Real Full Monty where they stripped completely naked on stage to the classic Tom Jones song "You Can Leave Your Hat On" as done in the film.
It was all for the charity 'Stand Up To Cancer' and it was great to watch on TV. The only problem we had with it was that they preformed on stage in LONDON!😡
Don't get me wrong, I love London but that isn't where the film was made, nor is it where it's based.

So this year, by popular demand, they did it again, with a new cast of male and (for the first time) female celebrities and I'm happy to say, they preformed in Sheffield!

It was free tickets, first come, first served and my dear mum got us in! Yes, I went to see male and female celebrities strip naked for charity... Oh, and it was all filmed LIVE on ITV1.😖

We got their very early so had a few hours to kill so we went for a few drinks (obviously) even though it was pretty early in the afternoon.😬

We got in, got our seat, was offered to move from the front side to the front middle, we took that offer and we were in our seats, watching the show with famous people sat all around us, having a great time.
Unlike on TV though, we saw EVERYTHING!😆

I was even more happy as some of the cast of a UK TV soap, Emmerdale, were in the audience including one of last years strippers, Matthew Wolfenden (David Metcalfe in the soap) and MY GOD! He's even more beautiful in real life😍

Because we were on the front row, you also got to see myself and my mum on TV a good few times.😆

The show was great, see loads of celebrities was awesome and spending the day/night with my mum was lovely.😊

It was a great day out and I hope they come back to Sheffield next year as I want to go again!😆 And it's all for a good cause, Stand Up To Cancer.💙💗
